Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey launches campaign to help health care workers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — On Thursday Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey announced a fundraising program that will support health care workers battling COVID-19 in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Through “22 and You” McCaffrey, in partnership with Lowe’s Home Improvement stores and Bose Corporation, will raise money for the North Carolina Healthcare Foundation and South Carolina Hospital Association Foundation.

“Like all of you, I have been watching the COVID-19 public health emergency unfold with shock and sadness,” McCaffrey wrote in a message posted to his social media channels and website.

“I am moved by the heroic and selfless efforts of our frontline health care providers throughout the Carolinas and beyond.”
