ALPHARETTA, G.A. — Tommy Tremble leaped into freezing water on Saturday morning to benefit a mission close to his heart.

The Carolina Panthers tight end participated in the Polar Bear Plunge to support Brewable, a Georgia-based non-profit.

Brewable is a coffee shop that provides work for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Tremble’s mom and brother joined him on the morning plunge into 12-degree pool water.

Brewable raised more than $18,000 by the end of the event. The team is accepting donations through GiveSmart Fundraise.
