CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Update: Due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19 the Charlotte date has been rescheduled from April 18, 2020 to April 17, 2021.
The Piano Man is coming to Bank of America Stadium, Carolina Panthers and Live Nation executives have announced.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will play at the stadium in uptown on April 17, 2021.

The team said there will be a lot more concerts in the stadium's future.
“Live music is back at Bank of America Stadium, and we are delighted to begin this new era with the one and only Billy Joel,” Glick said. “This will be the first of many shows as we bring fans from up and down the East Coast to uptown Charlotte for more music, entertainment and sports.”
“We’ve waited a long time for this,” said Live Nation Chief Operating Officer Wilson Howard. “Today marks a new chapter for entertainment in Charlotte.”
