Panthers’ Bradley Bozeman talks taking over starting center role

CHARLOTTE — The Carolina Panthers have a new face under center after Pat Elflein underwent a season-ending surgery.

Bradley Bozeman, however, is more than capable of getting the job done.

Bozeman was a part of the offensive’s lines success in last week’s win, which was important to him.

“Just to know that I am locked in. I have all the assignments down pat,” said Bozeman on what was most important to him about the win. “I can get guys on the right page and be on the same page.”

When Bozeman got the call with his wife that he would be taking over the starting role, he was filled with emotions after first expecting to start with the Panthers.

“We were a three-year starter in Baltimore, came here we were expecting to start and unfortunately injuries happen, things happen,” Bozeman said “It was a great moment when we got that call because we had been working and trying to do the right things and to see that finally pay off which is very gratifying.”

Bozeman looks to keep being a vital part of the Panthers moving forward.
