MAIDEN, N.C. — A man and woman were arrested after drugs and guns were seized from a home in the town of Maiden.
Police told Channel 9 they received several tips and complaints about illegal activity at the home just a few blocks from the downtown area.

Officers said when they got to the home, one of the suspects jumped out of a window. Police said they found more than 100 pounds of packaged marijuana, along with five pounds of marijuana edibles. They also said they discovered cocaine, mushrooms and assault rifles inside the home, along with $9,000.
Authorities said the drugs were worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Christian Parker and Alexis Lineberger have been charged with felony trafficking marijuana.
Officials were crediting patrol officers who, after getting complaints from the community, set up surveillance around the home, leading to a search warrant.
Police told Channel 9 the bust is the biggest they’ve had in Maiden in the last 10 years. The marijuana that was seized will be destroyed once the case goes to court, officials said.
More charges are expected to be filed in the case.
