PAGELAND, S.C. — Pageland police are asking for help as they search for a missing woman who was last heard from on Friday while heading to a Greyhound bus station.
Investigators said Deidre Reid, 41, was last seen Sept. 3 at 112 E. Turner Street. She was allegedly going to the Greyhound bus station in Charlotte.
According to the Burke County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia, Reid never made it to the bus station in Charlotte, and her cellphone has been going straight to voicemail.
Reid’s family said she was headed to the bus station to drop off the father of her youngest child. Officials said that man has ties to the Burke County, Georgia area.
Reid has three young children who haven’t seen her in almost a week. They said their mother is loving and nurturing, and it’s not like her to just disappear without saying a word.
“We still haven’t heard from our sister. She hasn’t called to talk to her kids or anything, and we know that’s strange,” her brother James Reid said.
Reid drives a gray 2004 Chevy Tahoe with South Carolina tag FXU718. The Tahoe has a New York Giants plate on the front of the SUV.
“Yes we want to find her, but locating that vehicle could help us find her and get us where we need to be,” a family member said.

Reid was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a light pink and white shirt and white Air Force One shoes.
“Please bring her home safe, because we need her right now. We just lost our father in June,” one of her children said.
Police said they’ve questioned the man Reid drove to the bus station, but at this point he is not a suspect or a person of interest in the case.
Police have not released any other information about her disappearance.
