CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Healthy food options are growing in Fort Mill with a new grocery store set to open this fall.
Earth Fare, the specialty organic and natural food grocery store, announced its newest location would open at 2351 Len Patterson Road. The 24,000-square-foot store will be the anchor tenant of the Mills Crossing shopping center, which is being developed by the Charlotte-based Collett.
Earth Fare was founded in 1975 in Asheville and now has more than 40 locations across 10 states in the Southeast, mid-Atlantic and Midwest. This will be the chain’s sixth location in South Carolina, joining Columbia, Greenville, Rock Hill, Summerville and Charleston. Earth Fare also has two Charlotte locations.
“Fort Mill is a very special, vibrant community, full of shoppers who are looking for a place where they can find healthier, tastier, more wholesome food,” said Frank Scorpiniti, president and CEO of Earth Fare. “We are very proud to serve as a resource for healthier living to this community, and to make shopping for clean, healthy foods more convenient for our Fort Mill customers.”
