CHARLOTTE — Free parking for customers at Optimist Hall will soon be a thing of the past … sort of.
Last week, a post on the Hall’s Instagram account said that it is moving to a paid parking program beginning Monday.
“In an effort to provide convenient and efficient parking to our visitors, we are partnering with Laz Parking to transition to a paid parking program beginning on Monday, Aug. 15,” the post read.
According to the information posted, the first 90 minutes of parking will remain free.
Parking from 90 minutes to three hours will cost $5.
Cars parked from three to 24 hours will cost $18.
Customers with questions can contact optimisthall@lazparking.com.
Optimist Hall recently celebrated its third anniversary and is home to more than 25 food and retail tenants.
