CHARLOTTE — Changes are coming for those who fly private out of Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.
The airport told Channel 9 that Modern Aviation has been selected to be its next operator of general and corporate aviation services.
Modern Aviation will replace Wilson Air Center, which has been at Charlotte Douglas for the past 20 years.
The airport said Modern Aviation will retain most, if not all, existing personnel.
However, the council has to sign off on the deal.
The changeover date is expected to be on July 1.
