CHARLOTTE — A juvenile and his family are recovering after their northwest Charlotte home was shot into early on Friday.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, at 1:30 a.m. on Friday, shots were fired into an occupied house on Flagler Lane, just off Oakdale Road, one of the shots hit a 13-year-old boy in the leg.
MEDIC transported the teenager to the hospital.
A 42-year-old, an 11-year-old, and a 1-year-old were in the house along with the 13-year-old when the unknown suspect fired into the home.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has not released any information about a possible suspect or cause for the shooting.
