CHARLOTTE — One person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries from a shooting in east Charlotte on Sunday morning, MEDIC reports.
Charlotte Mecklenburg Police heard of the shooting around 3:30 a.m. Sunday on East Independence Boulevard near Village Lake Drive.
The cause of the shooting is still unknown.
