Investigators estimate $150K damage in northeast Charlotte fire

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Emergency crews could see flames billowing from a home on Penninger Circle in northeast Charlotte when they arrived at the scene mid-afternoon on Friday.

Investigators estimate $150,000 property loss.

Firefighters worked for more than an hour to extinguish the smoldering blaze.

No injuries were reported.

The cause is under investigation.
