Officials investigate after York County inmate dies

YORK COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is investigating after a York County inmate was found unresponsive in his cell.

John Dellinger, 29, was at the Moss Justice Center in York. The York County Coroner’s Office is helping SLED investigate the death.

An autopsy will be conducted Monday. Channel 9 is working to gather more information on the death.
