CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A parent of a student was robbed at gunpoint near the campus of a Charlotte elementary school, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were working with CMS police and were looking for the robber after 10 a.m. Thursday morning at Hidden Valley Elementary School.
The school was placed on lockdown Thursday morning.
CMPD officers, K-9 units and aviation unit were circulating the area.
