CHARLOTTE — White Point Partners, MRP Realty and Barings are teaming up to develop an office tower at the corner of East and South Boulevards. The currently unnamed project will include 400,000 square feet of office space, ground-floor retail and a rooftop terrace.

The joint venture purchased the 1.2-acre site at 1728 South Blvd. in December for about $12.8 million, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records.
“This acquisition enables the complete transformation of this block into a true live-work-play destination,” said Jay Levell, co-founder of White Point. “The site is adjacent to two other White Point projects – historic, mixed-use Dilworth Artisan Station and a luxury high-rise residential tower being developed in partnership with Greystar.”
