Now hiring: State of North Carolina to hold virtual career fair

NORTH CAROLINA — If you are looking for work, we have good news -- the state of North Carolina is hiring!

Starting Tuesday, the state is hosting a virtual career expo and when you log in, you can find work with one of 32 state agencies.

So far, more than 1,500 people have registered for the expo. You can search for jobs by title, location and industry.

“We are having a hard time filling state jobs,” state recruitment manager Kristin Siemek said. "Just like public and private, we wanted to highlight what are the benefits of working for the state. You can work with any agency, transfer from agencies, you can grow with the state.
