Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officers were called some time before 6 p.m. to Highland Creek Parkway near Prosperity Church Road.

On Friday, the victim was identified as 34-year-old Gregory Allen Glisson Jr.

According to CMPD, investigators got evidence that Glisson was riding “at a high rate of speed” when he lost control of the motorcycle and hit a pole on the right side of the road.
