CHARLOTTE — Time is running out for residents of a north Charlotte mobile home park.
The dozens of families living at Countrywoods Mobile Home Park near Old Statesville Road received a letter earlier this week saying they have until the end of March to find a new place to live.
Management at the mobile home park said eviction was inevitable.
A new company bought the land last August and plans to build new mobile homes there.
Contractors are already moving forward on the plans for the construction.
Families who wish to stay will have priority to buy one of the new mobile homes, management said.
The community program, Action NC, said it is stepping in to help those families who won’t have elsewhere to go.
This is a developing story. Check wsoctv.com for updates.
