Opening day for the Wegmans in the Triangle was Sunday. It’s located at 1200 Wake Towne Drive in Raleigh.
The Raleigh Wegmans features about 100,000 square feet of grocery space with offerings including an extensive produce section, beer and wine — including a fine wine room with bottles up to $1,800 — prepared food, restaurants and cafes.
The store features products and brands from merchants in the Triangle as well as upstate New York delicacies like Dinosaur Bar-B-Que sauce and Hofmann Hot Dogs. It’s also one of the first Wegmans to sell packaged Impossible Burger patties.
