North Carolina grocer picked as ‘Best Supermarket in America’

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Fresh Market can add a new designation as the “Best Supermarket in America” to go with along with its new digs in downtown Greensboro.

The grocer was given that recognition in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

A panel of 10Best local experts and contributors nominated their favorite supermarkets based on value, selection and service. Readers could then cast their vote for their favorite supermarket, once per day for a 28-day period, through the 10Best website.
