Norfolk Southern contractor killed in accident in Rowan County, officials say

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Norfolk Southern confirmed to Channel 9 a contractor for the railroad was killed in an accident Saturday.

Officials said it happened around 12 p.m. behind the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer.

No other details have been released.
