CHARLOTTE — A nonprofit that uplifts local students celebrated a milestone and rallied for funding to continue the mission on March 26.
Communities in Schools marked 40 years working on more than 50 Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools campuses.
It supports students K-12 with everything from mentoring and tutoring to basic needs like clothing and food.
