CHARLOTTE — NoDa Brewing Co. is getting back to its roots.

The popular brewery expects to reopen its original taproom — dubbed “The OG” — in late July. That 11,400-square-foot facility is at 2229 N. Davidson St.

It has been closed since March 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic shuttered bars and restaurants statewide.

“We’re really excited to bring it back,” says Jacob Virgil, director of strategic development.

He says the long-term vision is to utilize more of that space. Right now, 1,350 square feet is dedicated to the taproom. He sees potential for an expanded taproom and private event space.
