CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are trying to track down whoever fired dozens of bullets into cars and homes overnight in west Charlotte.
The shootings happened around 1 a.m. on Tuckaseegee Road, between Reid Park Lane and Reid Meadows Drive.

Channel 9 crews at the scene could see the windows had been shot out of a black sedan. Officers could be seen placing several evidence markers on the ground as well.
Police said nobody was hurt.
The road was shut down for a few hours while detectives collected evidence.
No suspect information has been released.
