No arrests made after man shot in east Charlotte dies at hospital

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating after a man, who was shot in east Charlotte late Tuesday night, died at the hospital.

It happened just after 10 p.m. near McAlway Road, which is near Randolph Middle School.

When officers got to the area, they found 24-year-old Laquintin McManus with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities have not said what led up to the shooting and no arrests have been made.

No other information has been released.
