ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police have made a second arrest almost two weeks after a man was shot and killed outside a York County house.

The shooting happened Friday, Feb. 19 just before midnight, on Rich Street in Rock Hill.

When officers got to the house, they found 29-year-old Harterius Massey, of Winston-Salem, shot several times in the driveway. He was taken to Piedmont Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities have not said what led up to the shooting but on Feb. 25 announced that Jarod Nelson, 24 of Rock Hill, was taken into custody and charged with murder.

Almost two weeks later, Brendon Meyers, 24 of Rock Hill, had warrants issued for murder, possession of a weapon during a crime of violence, and criminal conspiracy. He was taken into custody Tuesday in Ellis County, Kansas.

Meyers is being held until extradition back to Rock Hill occurs.

No other information has been released.
