RALEIGH, N.C. — The newly appointed State Board of Elections will hold a public evidentiary hearing Monday, Feb. 18, to discuss claims of irregularities related to absentee by-mail voting in the 9th Congressional District.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. in Raleigh and officials said it will likely last two days.

In November, 2018, state officials refused to certify the 9th District results, citing claims of irregularities and fraudulent behavior in the race.
Republican Mark Harris leads Democrat Dan McCready by 905 votes out of nearly 283,000 votes cast
