CHARLOTTE — Charlotteans gathered at Truist Field to celebrate New Year’s Eve in the Queen City.
However, this year the party was very different, with no crown, no DJ, and no band.
It was the first time the celebration was held at the ballpark.
“I think this is a great use of this space during this time when nothing is happening; it gives us a lot more options to do during the New Year celebration fireworks type of thing, and all the families are out here enjoying themselves,” one attendee said.
