New UNCC chancellor says student safety is top priority

CHARLOTTE — Students and teachers will be dealing with challenges returning to class at UNC Charlotte while in the middle of a pandemic.

[UNCC students will have to pay same fees for online courses come fall]

The university’s new chancellor said she will be guiding them through the changes.

“We recognize is there’s a lot of uncertainty,” Chancellor Sharon L. Gaber said. “What we have to do is make sure that we do everything we can in the prevention element and in the making sure we are testing, and monitoring and isolating.”
