WEDDINGTON, N.C. — Football is a familiar sight in the summer -- when high school football teams start training for the upcoming fall season.
But this year, those workouts look a lot different. Teams have to follow several new guidelines to protect student-athletes and staff from getting COVID-19.
Union County is among the first in NC to see a return of athletics on campus.
