HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — An Alabama real estate firm plans to partially redevelop a center near Birkdale Village in Huntersville, bringing new retail and office space to the market.
Birmingham-based Fairway Investments said it will demolish three buildings at Sam Furr Road and Birkdale Commons Parkway to make way for a two-story, 28,000-square-foot office building and three new retail buildings that total 44,734 square feet.
The project, Birkdale Landing, is expected to begin early this fall, with space delivering in the third quarter of 2020.
