SOUTH CAROLINA — There's a push to raise the minimum wage in South Carolina.
In a recent Winthrop poll, 68 percent of people said they support raising the minimum wage in the state. Twenty-nine percent of people were against it.
South Carolina's minimum wage is $7.25 per hour.
South Carolina is one of 19 states where minimum wage does not exceed the federal limit.
