SALISBURY, N.C. — Keep your eyes peeled: some of the people you may see walking around Salisbury this week will soon be on TV in a new feature-length movie for the Hallmark Channel.
The Rowan County city is going to be a backdrop for a new Hallmark movie called “To Her, With Love.” Salisbury officials gave notice that some roads would be closed this week due to filming, but you can still visit downtown to try and get a glimpse of the action.
Wondering, “How can I be in the movie?” You might still have a shot at getting in the shoot as a background extra. KLR Creative Groups published a casting call flyer for paid background extras in the Charlotte area. You can email klrcreativegroupsc@gmail.com with a current photo, phone number, and date of birth using the subject line “TO HER WITH LOVE.” Actors must be willing to test for COVID-19 prior to filming.
According to the City of Salisbury, filming will take place through at least this Saturday. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, complete road closures will be in place on South Fulton Street from West Monroe to West Horah streets, and on West Horah Street from South Fulton to South Jackson streets.
No spoiler alerts here: Hallmark hasn’t released info on the movie’s plot, who’s starring in it, or when it’s expected to air.
