CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Homegrown chicken-and-biscuits chain Bojangles Inc. is mulling a future corporate real estate move within Charlotte.
Real estate sources have told the Charlotte Business Journal the company has been looking at options for new office space in the Queen City. Bojangles today keeps its corporate headquarters at 9432 Southern Pine Blvd., part of the Pine Brook Business Center off West Arrowood Road. It also has a training center at 9600 Southern Pine Blvd.
Stacey McCray, who joined Bojangles this week as its senior director of communications, submitted a statement on Tuesday in response to rumors about a possible move.
“Bojangles was born in Charlotte, and we are proud to have our Support Center based here,” McCray said. “As part of the company’s strategic planning, we are exploring a range of options to modernize our brand, which could include a new location for our Support Center in Charlotte in the future. However, no decisions have been made at this time.”
