CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Hornets’ new head coach is setting down roots here.
Charles Lee, hired by the Hornets this spring, and his wife bought a south Charlotte home in mid-November for $3.95 million, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records.
That nearly 6,500-square-foot home was just built this year, completed in November, according to its listing details. The homebuilder purchased that 1.2-acre property for $780,000 in October 2023, real estate records show. The lot housed a 1950s-era, duplex-style structure at the time.
