CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fat Cat Burgers & Bake Shop is set to debut in Dilworth next Monday.
Restaurateur Fran Scibelli has spent the past few months transforming that 4,000-square-foot space at 2410 Park Road — formerly home to her venture, Fran’s Filling Station.
The menu has been revamped, with burgers and sandwiches taking center stage. Baker Noe Flores is creating fresh buns and breads for sandwiches, with pretzel, potato, wheat and gluten-free options baked in-house.
Customers can expect gourmet doughnuts — filled options with interesting combinations and textures — to be a highlight. Those will be served at a pass-through window.
