Winston started his morning in front of 400 new CMS teachers.
He read them a personal letter from his deceased mother that he felt would inspire them.
“It was just her way of saying, ‘I’m still with you. I may not be physically right next to you, but I’m here with you. You can do this.’ And so, the encouragement that I took away from that letter, I wanted to encourage our newest teachers as well,” Winston said.
