Novant Health has launched mobile health units to bring COVID-19 vaccines into vulnerable communities across the area.
Health officials said they will be sending mobile units to priority ZIP codes in an effort to provide easier access to the vaccine. Each week, the events will be held at high-traffic locations such as grocery stories and residential areas like public housing communities and homeless shelters.
