CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This authentic wood-fired pizza joint is now open at Optimist Hall.
Ava Pizzeria is an Italian eatery from restaurateur Michael Steward and Joe Maddon, who won the World Series with the Chicago Cubs.
The $60 million adaptive-reuse project by White Point Partners and Atlanta-based Paces Properties houses 147,000 square feet of restaurants, retail and office. That includes a roughly 22,000-square-foot food hall with 19 stalls.
It sits on an 11.9-acre parcel at 1115 N. Brevard St.
