RALEIGH, N.C. — An Uber driver was shot in the head early Monday morning after someone opened fire on her SUV in Raleigh.
Police said a woman driving for Uber was dropping off a passenger around 2 a.m. on Hill Street near New Bern Avenue when several bullets hit her SUV.

According to officials, the woman was shot "on the top of the head" before she pulled over on East Street for help. She was taken to a hospital.
Our news partners at WTVD reported at least five bullet holes were seen on the outside of her car and a rear window was shot out.
Police have not said what led to the shooting or if any arrests have been made.
