NORTH CAROLINA — Four North Carolina Republican representatives will help President Donald Trump review FEMA’s response to Hurricane Helene.
According to the Charlotte Observer, two of them are from our area.
Michael Whately of Gastonia and Tim Moore of Kings Mountain will serve on the committee.
Trump signed an executive order on Friday creating the review council.
It came after the president visited western North Carolina and said he would consider getting rid of FEMA.
