NC Highway Patrol using ‘ghost cars'

NC Highway Patrol "ghost" car

CHARLOTTE, NC — Was that a North Carolina Highway Patrol car you just passed? It’s getting harder to tell.

Troopers have begun using “ghost” or “stealth” cars in some counties.

The cars are marked, but the lettering is barely visible during the day. At night, the decals are reflective.
