NC high school football state championship games to air on TV64/WAXN

West Charlotte Football Monroe (14-0) and Northeastern (15-0) will end the day off inside Kenan Stadium with a 6:30 p.m. start time. (WSOC)

CHARLOTTE — North Carolina High School football teams will play for state championships this weekend and it all airs on TV64/WAXN.

The first of three games begins Friday at 7 p.m. between Rolesville and Grimsley at UNC’s Kenan Stadium.

The last three games will air on Saturday and include schools from the Charlotte area. West Charlotte (12-2) will play Seventy-First (15-0) at 11 a.m. inside NC State’s Carter-Finley Stadium. Tarboro (13-1) will play Corvian Community (15-0) at 3 p.m., which will also be inside Carter-Finley.

Monroe (14-0) and Northeastern (15-0) will end the day off inside Kenan Stadium with a 6:30 p.m. start time.
