CHARLOTTE, N.C. — North Carolina's attorney general is investigating the Charlotte School of Law, according to The New York Times.
Josh Stein is looking into whether students received all the information they needed before deciding to attend the school.
The American Bar Association put the school on probation last fall after it said its acceptance standards were too low.
The U.S. Department of Education stopped offering loans to students, who attended the school, and a number of students transferred, to other schools.
The law school held graduation this weekend.
The grads will now start studying for the bar exam.
Only one-quarter of Charlotte School of Law graduates who took the bar exam for the first time this year passed, the lowest rate in school history.
