CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Chef Chris Coleman is cooking from the heart at NoDa’s newest culinary concept.
The Goodyear House is set to open at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. It will be open for lunch and dinner service starting the following day.
The restaurant is located at 3032 N. Davidson St.

Expect a menu of simple plates with complex flavors, Coleman says.
“I’ve just settled into who I am as a chef. The style of food I like to cook now is the style of food I like to eat.”
He’ll dish up Southern-inspired fare that relies on local ingredients — but, at the same time, has an international influence. For example, Coleman draw flavors from Japan, Mexico and even Northern Africa.
