CHARLOTTE — Chilly temperatures and rain didn’t stop the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office from joining Charlotte families in an Easter celebration at Starbucks on Saturday.
Charlotte residents and members of the sheriff’s office filled the Starbucks on Banner Elk Drive near Sunset Road from 2 to 4 p.m.

Kids could participate in Easter-themed activities like small egg hunts, dying, coloring, and even crafts.
Another perk of the event was Starbucks, all kids who came were given a free lemonade.
