BELMONT, N.C. — After a nearly ten year hiatus, folks pulled in through the gates of the Belmont Drive-In Friday night.
Citing financial issues as the reason to the closure in 2014, owners of the business in a recent Facebook post ask movie fans to “Come hungry, and support the concession stand to keep us alive!”
The drive-in is operating as a cash only payment option temporarily and the business has also posted new parking rules in order to maximize the number of guests they can allow on a given night.
The cost is $25 per car load for both movies.
The movies playing this weekend include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Mutant Mayhem, and Mission Impossible.
