CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — A five-year-old girl was killed Saturday afternoon in a wreck in Cabarrus County, authorities said.
According to investigators, a vehicle ran stop light at the intersection of N.C. Highway 49 and Cold Springs Road and collided with another vehicle, which the child was a passenger in.

Two others were taken to a hospital, police said.
Authorities said the girl was from Concord but no names have been released.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been announced.
