HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — A motorcyclist was killed in a wreck Saturday night, Huntersville Police said.
The crash happened shortly before 8 p.m. near Sam Furr Road at Kenton Drive. The area was closed during the investigation.
According to police, the crash involved a motorcycle and a sedan. The driver of the motorcycle, Anthony Robert Lempp of Cornelius, died at the scene.
Huntersville Police say the crash is still under investigation, but added that “preliminary data indicates speed may have been a contributing factor.”
