CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Channel 9 spoke with the mother of a man left for dead in the middle of a northwest Charlotte road earlier this month.
Angela Bradley is pleading for answers after two men were charged with her son's death, and told Channel 9 that she needs closure and wants to know why it happened.

Bradley said that her son, 26-year-old Tyshawn Calhoun, was a good man who followed the rules and didn't fight with anyone.
Last week, police found him shot on Eddleman Street, near Freedom Drive and Interstate 85, where he died.
"To be shot and left like that. Nobody should be left to die alone," Bradley said.
Police have been tight-lipped about the investigation, but did arrest Dequillar Moore and Justin Hood in connection with the shooting.
"He was murdered for no reason,” the mother said. “He had no beef with nobody. He wasn't arguing and fighting with (anyone.)"

Both Bradley and one of Calhoun’s teachers spoke to Channel 9, saying he graduated from West Meck High School, was a manager at Walmart and was working on furthering his career.
Bradley said the killing of her son should not have happened, and she feels cheated.
"You followed the straight and narrow, you listen to the rules and you still came out with an outcome like this,” she said. “I just need to -- I need to know why.”
